Carl Crowther, 53, was shocked to discover that his cat had gone missing on January 19th, only to find out the next day that an Amazon driver had been caught on camera stealing Nora.
According to Crowther, he had left for work as a maintenance worker around 2:30 pm, unaware that his package was due to arrive. Upon returning home, he reviewed the security footage and witnessed the driver approaching his door, picking up Nora, and walking away with her.
The incident appears to have been a spontaneous act, as the driver was seen acting normally outside the family home in Elland, West Yorkshire, before the theft. Crowther explained that the driver likely intended to leave the package somewhere safe since no one was home, but instead, he found Nora.
Crowther and his family are deeply concerned for Nora's safety, as she is a timid cat that rarely ventures far from home. They are especially worried because Nora needs medication for a heart murmur, and her absence could have serious health implications.
