WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson recently showcased her knowledge in an engaging trivia quiz about her boyfriend, Bam Adebayo, just before the Miami Heat faced off against the Boston Celtics. This fun quiz was designed to test how well A’ja knows her partner's life and accomplishments.
A’ja, who plays for the Las Vegas Aces, managed to answer nearly all the questions correctly, missing only one. The quiz primarily focused on Bam's basketball achievements, reflecting their status as one of the most discussed couples in the basketball community. A’ja and Bam have been together since 2021, though they only publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2024. Prior to their announcement, fans speculated about their romance but had no official confirmation.
Once they stepped into the public eye, fans erupted with excitement over their appearances together.
In a viral clip leading up to the Miami Heat versus Boston Celtics game, A’ja Wilson was seen sporting Heat gear when she was approached by interviewer Maddy Sells, who hosts an interview series called WAGTalk, focusing on the partners of professional athletes. Maddy kicked off the quiz with a playful challenge: "How well do you know your NBA boyfriend? Are you ready?"
A’ja confidently responded, "Yeah, we will see," clearly ready for the challenge ahead. The first question was about the year Bam was drafted, to which A’ja quickly answered, "2017." They proceeded to the next query: "What pick number was he?" A’ja replied with, "14." The third question asked how many times Bam had been an All-Star, and she accurately guessed, "I wanna say three."
The quiz continued with questions regarding Bam's other accolades, including how many NBA Finals he played in, the state where he earned his Mr. Basketball title, and the year he was named a McDonald’s All-American. The only misstep from A’ja came when trying to recall the year of the McDonald’s All-American honor; she calculated incorrectly, guessing 2013 instead of the correct year, 2016. However, she got everything else right, from Bam's AAU team name to two of his college teammates, his jersey number during his Kentucky tenure, and even the recognition he received from the Mayor of Miami-Dade County after the Olympics. Overall, it was an enjoyable segment.
A’ja Wilson affectionately referred to Bam Adebayo as being "perfect" during a recent episode of Good Morning America. When asked how they support each other in their demanding careers, A’ja candidly replied, "It’s just what we do. I think that’s just our foundation that we built when our relationship started. We knew this wouldn’t be easy, but if we wanted it to work, we would make it work for each other… In my eyes, he’s perfect." Their relationship seems to grow cuter by the day.
